The Listener Within Workshop
Listening has the power to transform—other living beings, situations, and most of all ourselves. How do we become a better listener? We begin by listening from the inside-out—by acknowledging and accessing the sacred and eternal part of ourselves, listening, and using that information to guide and support our life choices. Spend a day of discovery as you explore your own listening strengths and challenges. Through a series of individual and interactive exercises and discussions, participants will walk away from this workshop with a richer understanding of how and when they are best able to listen to the Divine voice within and the many ways to use that information to enrich their everyday lives.
· Your listening story—past, present, and future;
· Understanding your own listening cycle & rhythm;
· Accessing inner guidance & removing blocks;
· Tools to support listening;
· Listening as an act of love.
Christine C. Williams, PhD has spent most of her professional career as a facilitator, presenter, and consultant helping co-workers communicate with one another in constructive and productive ways. As Chris traveled throughout the United States, she witnessed first-hand the transformational power of listening—to individuals as well as organizations. As a result, Chris was motivated to explore listening from a far more personal and spiritual perspective, leading to the publication of her book, The Listening Project. In recent years, Chris has shifted her focus from workplace communications to supporting others on their own unique listening journeys, particularly as it relates to looking and listening to the Divine voice within. Chris has taught meditation classes over a span of twenty-five years and currently serves as adjunct faculty for Heart to Heart Communications in Akron, Ohio.
