Christine C. Williams, PhD, founder of Focus Consulting Group, LLC has spent most of her professional career as a facilitator, presenter, and consultant specializing in workplace conversations. She has worked “in the trenches” for over thirty years with healthcare, educational, manufacturing and non-profit organizations throughout the United States. Christine also co-developed and served as the project manager of a cutting-edge national executive development program for clinical leaders at the Department of Veterans affairs.
Both personally and professionally, Christine’s life work is about building sustainable relationships. Her experiences with diverse workgroups motivated her to publish her first book, Working As One: Fundamental Conversations That Build Cooperation & Get Results. Christine’s second book, The Listening Project: Lessons of Life, Love, & Listening to God, represents a natural evolution of thought and practice that moves Christine at this point in her career to the inner workings of her heart where she feels most at home.
Christine has spent a lifetime journaling about her life experiences and growing relationship with God. Her passion for exploring how others experience God led her on her own spiritual journey, including travels to India where she briefly lived in an ashram. She has taught meditation classes over a span of twenty-five years and is a certified Reike Master.
Christine founded My Listening Project in 2015 to support others in their growth of accessing and listening to the Divine voice within. She facilitates Listening Workshops that are engaging, practical, and interactive—allowing participants to explore their own unique ways of when and how to access this sacred, inner space and how to move that guidance outward into everyday life.
In addition, Christine blogs (http://www.mylisteningproject.com/#!blog/c1rol) and vlogs (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PAMSNlYBbH4) weekly, offering suggestions to support one’s individual listening journey.
Christine has a doctorate in education, a master’s degree in guidance and counseling, and a bachelor’s degree in education. Christine’s love of nature and animals has led her to serve on non-profit boards, as well as participate in numerous volunteer activities. Currently, she and her husband, along with their dogs, volunteer for the Cuyahoga Valley National Park as members of the Paw Patrol.
